Access

We recommend purchasing admission tickets online before your visit, as nosotros are required to comply with capacity limits prepare forth by the State of North Carolina, just walk-ups are welcome if space allows. Admission to the Children'south Museum & Science Centre is $half-dozen per person, and it is free to visit the Maria V. Howard Art Centre. Access on Sundays is free to all City of Rocky Mount residents. Masks for staff and visitors (5 and older) are required.

Theater Shows

Membership

The Imperial Centre is excited to share a new membership that provides admission to the Children's Museum and discounted rates on theatre productions and gallery shop purchases. Memberships may be purchased through our box office by visiting the Imperial Centre or calling 252-972-1266. Visitors may also purchase memberships online via Etix.

Facility Rules

Please consult planetarium schedule prior to admission purchase.
No running.
Parents/Guardian must accompany children at all times.
Commercial photography by appointment only (Mondays).
Practice not harass alive animals.
No food or drinks allowed beyond the main lobby.

Photography

The grounds of the Royal Centre are open to photographers to utilize for portrait and family sessions in addition to artists exploring our historic campus. Many enjoy our campus for infant photos, bridal portraits, family unit sessions, model portraits, and more. In order to not interfere with the general public we serve, nosotros inquire that you be advised of the post-obit:

No wink photography in the Art Gallery.
No photography of any fine art.
Interior commercial photography on Mondays or by appointment.
Exterior photos immune during operating hours or until dark.
Photography sessions may not block walking paths, doorways, or stairs.
